A - Blaster
A downloadable game
Inspired by Gremlin/SEGA's Astro Blaster and Activision's Megamania, A-Blaster is a classic-style shooter for the SEGA Dreamcast featuring nine challenging levels.
A word of caution: This game is tough. You only have one ship to complete the entire game—no extra lives or second chances. Your enemies are fast but follow predictable patterns, so studying their movements is key to survival.
Here’s how to arm yourself:
- Button A fires your laser.
- Button B activates your Warp weapon, which slows down enemies for a few seconds. It only works once per level.
Use the Warp wisely! Occasionally, enemies return from the Warp even more aggressive than before, adding an extra layer of intensity to the challenge.

Install instructions
This is a .cdi disc image to be used on a SEGA Dreamcast console. It should work on a disc emulator as well as in the Flycast emulator.
The first version uploaded had a bug that would reset the game after the second level. The current version seems to work without issues.

Had a fun time with it! Could definitely use a turbo button for my poor fingers though 😅

There are two cheats on this game:
- Holding Y and pressing START on the initial screen will disable the backgrounds
- Performing a famous code on the initial screen before pressing START will make your ship invincible. This way you can easily finish the game,
